About Let Patients Grow NJ #JeffsLaw

Let Patients Grow NJ #JeffsLaw is a passionate campaign to advance legislation to restore cannabis plant possession provisions for patients in the state. We would like this legislation to be called, Jeff's Law, in honor of medical cannabis patient, advocate and activist, Jeff Oakes, who advocated across the state for better access to medical cannabis while suffering from stage four cancer. Sadly, Jeff passed away just days after legalization before getting the access he needed and wanted.
Our Political Action Forum provides a user-friendly platform for community action and interaction. We are focusing on a getting a hearing for bills S342 and A997, to finally have a legislative conversation about and legalize this essential access.
To continue to felonize people for this access is unacceptable!

Susan suffers from multiple health conditions and needs safe, affordable access to medical cannabis, but New Jersey's medical cannabis program lacks in supplying cannabis to patients with ongoing availability and affordability issues, so Susan is asking legislators for legal plant possession for patients.
